Full Of Bulls Thursday!

Thursday Notes:



-It's been somewhat of a crazy Wednesday, We find out that Matt Pilgrim and Kevin Galloway will no longer be on the UK roster. Rumors spark up on the Dave & The Morning Sports Show that Jodie Meeks was returning for his senior season and UK fans went into a frenzy on various message boards. We Find out later, according to Jerry Tipton that those reports were a bit premature and somewhat false. Meeks has made no decision and more than likely will make one this weekend.



-Meeks will indeed workout with the Chicago Bulls on Thursday and what could turn out whether or not Jodie Meeks returns for one more season as a wildcat. Jodie Meeks will be joined with some more players but no players that look to be drafted in the first round of the NBA draft. Below is a list of the players who will be working out with Meeks.


Michael Bramos Guard 6-5 Senior/Miami-Ohio
Joe Ingles Forward 6-8 Australia
Ater Majok Forward 6-10 Freshman/Connecticut
Jodie Meeks Forward 6-4 Junior/Kentucky
Alex Ruoff Guard 6-6 Senior/West Virginia
Garrett Temple Guard 6-5 Senior/Lousiana State

This will be the last workout for Meeks. I still think there is a possibility of him getting drafted. After all the speculation of Ben Gordon possibly leaving the team, Meeks maybe what the Bulls need. Like Tipton, I think by this weekend we'll know, we'll have to, the deadline is Monday, June 15th.

-Kevin Galloway and Matt Pilgrim is no longer on the team. I've been told by several people who were at Big Blue Madness last year, said that Pilgrim was a monster and would be great as a cat. I hate to see a great talent like Matt Pilgrim leave the University of Kentucky but with all the new recruits and the way the coaching staff see's things, the players we feel are the best, may not be the best for the team. I enjoyed watching Kevin Galloway last season, at times he would make an incredible play by driving in the lane and having a monstrous dunk. When I found out about the news, I got to thinking about the Florida game this past season and watching Galloway drive through the lane and dunk all over the gators, both Pilgrim and Galloway will truly be missed.

-That's all the news I have for tonight, tomorrow should turn out to be an interesting day, with the Meeks workout and such. We should get a good idea what he's going to do tomorrow. I'm out gang, good night big blue nation!
