Goodbye AJ, Jared Carter, and Landon Slone
Cats are opening space... Coach Cal and staff told AJ Stewart, Jared Carter, and Landon Slone that they will not be on next years roster. It was a no brainer that Carter would not be back on the team because of him being a senior last season and having the whole senior night and UK didn't need him. AJ Stewart a great kid and fun to be around and it shows with the video of him and Patterson singing. I know some of the seniors are going to be upset because of these guys leaving but that's just the way it is. Kentucky basketball is the mecca of all of college basketball and with Coach Cal behind the wheel...he recruits the best of the best. As a UK fan i'd hate to see anyone leave the team but it sure looks good....when you look at that roster...instead of having Landon Slone on the roster...you get Wall and instead of AJ...you get Cousins. So Cat fans...these players will get a free ride to college through basketball...somewhere but just not here at UK.
