Jay Wright aka Herman the Munster and Billy Donovan aka Eddie the Munster Snubbed UK!
Jeff Goodman writes in his article that Wright and Donovan snubbed the UK coaching job. I can't believe these guys would ignore the fact that UK would even consider them as top candidates. I guess that shows that coaches can't handle the level, ecspecially Donovan. He has no pressure down at the swamp. They're all about football down there, so he doesn't feel he has to be a final four contender and that's a bit different in the commonwealth. Jay Wright, I think he's an excellent coach but....why? why would you not consider coaching the University Of Kentucky, the greatest program in all of college basketball. I don't know if it's the pressure they think they can't handle or they just didn't want to leave. I find this very interesting that they didn't even think about coming to Big Blue Nation.
