Why is the site named 54report, you may ask? I've often pondered if people knew why the site was named that. Well the number 54 plays a huge part in Kentucky basketball right now. Meeks broke the school record against UT last season with ...54 points....54. Then you look at the UK roster and P-Patt, one of the most appreciated cats of all time...that's his number. Well this wasn't one of the reasons but Duke only scored 54 points in their loss against Villanova in this year's tournament. HAHA. Anyway the 54 involves Meeks's school record and the great Patrick Patterson's number.
